I played the game on Windows when i still had it installed. It's a good bit of fun, although the humour may not be for everyone. It's nothing offensive, just occasionally very lame, the kind you get from six year olds. Aside from a couple Smell my fart-jokes, the general atmosphere was enjoyable. The combat is quite exactly as it seems in the trailer, you have some room for tactics but it's basically hack'n'slash > retreat for a potion > repeat, with the better man eventually coming on top. Magic gave the game a real nice change regarding combat in particular. It's not easy.
I didn't finish the game, i got stuck on a boss somewhere around mid-game, but that was 10-15 hours in already so it's not too short either. As with any game, one could rush through faster. I explored everything.

I preordered this game on GOG back when I had a Windows install running. I never played more than a couple minutes because it ran like crap. I don't know if that was their first step into OpenGL or what but I don't think it was very optimized. I kind of wrote it off after that. The first one was fun.

What's even worse to me is that they paused Carribean! development to fix this game as well. But hey, they're a small team so I can give 'em some slack.

Legally? With difficulty. Unfortunately.
I would definitely have had all of the native id Tech games on this list (at least the more recent ones) but it is nice to know that Linux gaming has broadened its horizons enough that one can make a list that does not include any of them.

I actually know someone who worked with this developer on Incursion. It didn't end well, and supposedly he gave the idea to the developer. From what I saw and how I know the guy, he's telling the truth. I know I shouldn't bring hate, I'm just letting you know. Still, while I can't personally support the guy, if you want the game, then do it.
