Well after checking the 0 A.D. website almost everyday since long before the first Alpha was released (I'm a bit obsessive over watching it!), it seems that Alpha 2 isn't far off now!
Here are some of the goodies you can expect:

- Rotate buildings before building them.
- Hunt animals for food.
- Units have health bars.
- Lots of new and reworked buildings.
- New animal textures to look better.
- New Maps
- New Victory/Defeat conditions
- Fog of war
