0 A.D. Coding Sprint

By -
So some of you may remember that 0 A.D. is currently running another pledgie campaign to raise money for a coder to do another months work.

The last pledgie campaigns donations are now hard at work and "Ykkrosh" is the developer that was chosen to receive the funds to do a solid months work on the game.

One of the most interesting (to a player) changes that has been implemented is....single player saving and loading woohoo!

There has been more than just this - he has also started to work on a new profiler to find what are the worst performing parts of the game so they can fix them up too and much more to come from him!

I need to get back into promoting 0 A.D. a bit more again as I constantly see people wanting to play some form of Microsoft's Age of Empires on Linux and this would solve that one...that and I do love my RTS games!

It's not just that, It's the fact that this game is being done to a huge professional standard, the graphics really are crisp and the gameplay is solidly improving from Alpha to Alpha which will be even more so now that this month a developer is being paid thanks to our donations to work on it solidly!
