Binding of Isaac
About:
QuoteDive into a twisted basement dungeon in The Binding of Isaac. Get ready for a delicious brew of randomly generated, Legend of Zelda-esque dungeons; Robotron-esque run-and-gun; and action-RPG progression. The recently launched Halloween update adds a ton of content -- a new chapter, new bosses, new enemies, new items, a new character, a new ending, and more!

Learn new tricks with tetrominoes in Blocks That Matter. In this award-winning, charismatic, platform-puzzler mashup, you play as the Tetrobot, a plucky robotic drill that assimilates blocks of varying materials and properties, like sand, wood, stone, obsidian, iron, and diamond. After absorbing blocks, you’ll need to recreate them in various tetromino-shaped patterns to solve puzzles and traverse levels.

Just thinking out loud, are they experimenting ? to see which works best, a big bundle at the start or a small one and adding stuff IF you are above average ?
Personally I am more attracted by a big bundle, I pay a lot more tbh, then by a 1 game bundle that they might (or might not) add games too. In this case I would have payed more straight away for 3 games then for the 1 it was at the start.

edit: they added steam keys, so lets hope Desura key follows soon :)

I agree. When it was 5 games to start and two to three months between bundles, I payed double what I just payed for this one. When it's just the single game to start, I just feel like I need to 'hedge my bets' so to speak. Also, with more frequent bundles, I simply can't spend as much per bundle.

At first I was very disappointed when they introduced only one game, so I've waited for a real bundle which came today and donated $10, yeah it's not much but considering that I'm unemployed right now, and I have a lot of other bills to pay - that's reasonable for me.

Just tried "Blocks that Matter", and as with some other Java games the keyboard didn't respond and I had no sound.

Any idea on how to solve it ?

Depends what java lib it uses? If like minecraft it may need updating, i forget what the libs called though it's not a very easy to remember name.

lwgjl or something.

Why could they not just get these games into the damn thing in the beginning? Or maybe they could have held out on the last Bundle and had both the games in this one and the last and had one proper Bundle? I really am beginning to wonder...

Considering the last full Bundle made over 2 million, they would not even have lost any money. I really do not understand this.

Nov 02 01:44:49  (yeah, right...)
Nov 02 01:46:40  There's a lot of stuff in the response, but the basic gist is that the "Humble Indie Bundles" are meant to be separate from the not-"indie" bundles (Frozenbyte, Frozen Synapse, Voxatron)
Nov 02 01:46:53  They recognise that there's a branding issue
Nov 02 01:47:37  Apparently they're keen to do 1 - 2 big bundles a year, but want to do smaller stuff every now and again
Nov 02 01:50:06  I think I'm going to ask him if he wants to do an interview

Thanks for the clarification Xpander (and Cheesness). It makes a bit more sense now.
