Desura client is out for all!

By -

Today, the team at the game store Desura have officially released the Linux client so anyone can grab it.

Starting off strong too, with a list of 65 varied games available which is pretty huge for Linux. There's a mix of free and commercial games.

“Linux users were continually reaching out to us offering their support and encouragement as we developed the Linux client,” Desura founder Scott Reismanis said in the press release. “I believe we have created a robust tool to help promote and grow gaming on Linux. After an extensive 2 month beta, we are proud to unlock Desura for all Linux users and shift our attention towards adding to the more than 65 Linux games already offered.”

Once you download a game, much like Steam it will help keep all your titles up to date.

Go get it and support Linux gaming!

Yeah, that is the Wikipedia thumbnail. :P

I actually have two screens, a 17'' Acer AL1716 LCD and a 17'' Samsung SyncMaster 763MB CRT configured in Zaphod Mode. :D

Anyway, here is the page I was actually trying to link to:
