Humble Indie Bundle 4

By -
Wow what a year to be a Linux gamer, Humble Indie Bundle 4 is now out!

Including some really awesome never before seen on Linux games (some really are awesome and I've been waiting for!). As usual pay what you want for some great games.

Pay more than the average of $5.31 to get Gratuitous Space Battles and Cave Story+!

So far in total you can get;
Gratuitous Space Battles
Cave Story+
Jamestown
Bit.Trip Runner
Super Meat Boy - Also to point out that we told you SMB was coming here.
Shank
NightSky HD

With no bundle ever dipping below $500k we can be sure this one will not be the last, I for one am thankful we have people who do this.

This time around the EFF has been ditched in favour of the American Red Cross after a vote from the developers, they say that EFF should re-appear in a future bundle.

I would comment on how much they have made already - which is well in excess of $250,000 but each time I go to copy it, the amount has already shot up by so much, it's selling like hot cakes!

Update - The bundle now includes all the games soundtracks!

As usual though Linux is leading the pack on the average purchase amount! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Not currently from what I can see, I don't think any of the games are on Desura yet either.

Donated $20, although I won't gonna play most of the games there (not a retro fan),and I'm still unemployed, but as all 7 games make their first appearance on Linux - I just had to support them.

What is the difference between Cave Story+ and the one available for free through Desura?

EDIT: Here is the description from the Humble Bundle website:
Cave Story is the critically acclaimed opus by indie game developer Pixel, originally created as a tribute to games like Metroid and Castlevania.Cave Storyis a 2D platformer in the "metroidvania" tradition, with a classic, world-saving hero and an emphasis on exploration and discovery. The indie studio Nicalis worked with Pixel to update graphics and add new game modes, reflected in this edition of Cave Story.

Yeah, basically:
Resizeable windowed mode
Easy Medium Hard Difficulties
All kinds of neat extras
Just pretty much a much improved version of the original on the technical side

Also, threw them $20, even if I don't play any of the rest, I will be playing the shit out of Cave Story+

I've played the tutorial mission on GSB and I must say it's pretty cool. It's like starfarer only you don't control the ships yourself.

Did anyone play Cave Story +? I think it's locked on god mode on Linux. Is it just me?

Such an awesome year for Linux gaming: Desura and tons of indie games! AAA titles coming soon?
Now it would be great to read a review of the Linux gaming in 2011 ;). Maybe a poll to the best games for Linux in 2011.
