The Kickstarter fund drive for Wasteland 2 has now passed the magic $1.5 million marker which means that a Linux (and Mac) port is officially a go. Brian Fargo actually jumped the gun a and in a tweet commited to the ports about a hundred thousand dollars before the the goal was met.
The new Kickstarter update also brings information about what to expect at two million (which might happen as early as next week) along with a new humorous video.
