So let it begin, what could bring a good influx of new games! Unity 3D has with the latest version added support for building for Linux (note: version not out yet, available now for pre-order).
The Unity engine itself has quite a library of games using it;

Wolfire (Lugaru, Overgrowth...Humble Bundle) have already said they would look to port their game Receiver (which they made for 7dfps contest).
The developers of Unity 3D based games have no excuse not to bring us their games! Show them your love with your wallets people!
Ps. Does anyone else think the Unity website itself kinda sucks? In the way that it's really slow?

Quoting: "Soeb, post: 4719, member: 170"It appears that they'll only officially support Ubuntu with vendor drivers, at least initially. Which seems a splendid idea, in all fairness.
Yeah, pretty standard. No reason games made with it shouldn't work on other distros though.
Also, it's interesting to see all the news posts on kickstarter of games now supporting Linux.

Unity Technologies has been working on a native Linux port for years, without any funding or help from outside sources. See the FAQ for the Linux support in Unity 4, which details information about the history of the port: http://unity3d.com/unity/4/faq#linux
