At http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ouya/ouya-a-new-kind-of-video-game-console there is a kickstarter project which wanted $950.000 for a $99 Console which will run on Android 4.0 and thus all the games (like the humble bundle for Android) should work on it.

They got funded within 8 hours and are now close to triple the amount they asked for.

With all the fuss about Valve working on linux (still not sure if it's Steam or a game box) this little venture might be 1 step ahead if Valve is working on linux based game box Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I thought about pledging, but the hardware specs are very very low, it's not even close to todays consoles (ps3, xbox360,wii) and it cannot run those hi-end games.
I would really wanted to play Tekken5 , Street Fighter4, MK9 without buying an expensive console, but I guess this android console won't be able to run them even if they got ported to Android somehow.

The only games I would be able to play are the games I can currently play on my Samsung Galaxy S2 device, and some Linux games...
So it seems like it doesn't worth it for me at this point.
