Three Gates Studios currently have a kickstarter appeal running for a very nice looking RPG. They have currently $13775 of their required $25k goal. They have also announced there will be a linux build :D

Legends of Aethereus is a high action, low fantasy RPG with four player co-op and a variety of PvP game types.
Join forces in online multiplayer cooperative expeditions as the Inventor, Astrographer or Officer and venture into the uncharted wilderness of Aethereus seeking fame, glory and untold riches.
Invite your friends to your own customized Nexus City-State to battle in your arena or just show off how cool you've personalized your city using the statue-maker, banner creator and other customization features.
Embark on a variety of story driven hand-crafted expedition levels or explore the wilderness through a variety of procedurally generated exploration quests. question not related to this: how come when watching a youtube on this site people all look blue like in avatar, watching the same movie on youtube all looks fine ? nm, some silly flash & nvidia bug, disable hw acceleration

The Kickstarter campaigns have a boost on the pledges at the beginning and end so it's still possible that they succeed.

They have much more to show than concept art and yet they struggle so much to achieve that low level of pledges. I don't know why but I suspect that people think it will be generic and uninteresting RPG. I think that atleast looking at the environments it has nice design. This is also one of the most impressive games made in Unity game engine.

I don't know if you are aware that [URL='http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hiddenpath/defense-grid-2']Defense Grid 2[/URL] is on Kickstarter and if developers reach $750 000
there will be Linux and Mac versions. Hidden Path set quite a steep financial requirement and it seems unlikely to get that amount of pledges.
