Example Unity 4 Titles Ready For Testing

By -
I came across this Unity forum thread earlier today, in which a couple of tech demos/test games have been posted for Linux testing.

Keep in mind that these are mostly untested builds from a beta release of a platform that is only meant to have  "preview" of Linux support. YMMV :) Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Unitroid seems to work great here, only issue: Apparently a screen is supposed to pop up before the game loads which lets you select graphics options. That does not happen :(

AngryBots on the other hand runs like absolute garbage for me. My FPS is more realistically measured in FPM. Which is odd considering the NaCl version runs just fine...

Edit: Nope, I lied, AngryBots runs like garbage... only if I have XBMC open. That's... a little odd, no other program I've ever used has had any issues with XBMC open.

AngryBots runs pretty smoothly for me in F16 running Gnome-Shell.

Unitroids runs fine for me on Fedora 16 and LXDE. The AngryBots link does not seem to work.
