Baldurs Gate revamp may get Linux version

By -
Baldurs Gate is getting revamped in the name of Baldurs Gate: Enchanced Edition and it may even be getting a Linux version, pretty big news considering this one one of those games that left behind quite a big legacy.

Damn, I'll have to buy it twice then. Once Android and once Linux.

Strange that as someone who was born in and lives near Edmonton I seem to be the only one not drooling at the idea of getting more Bioware games on Linux. :p

EDIT: Hmm... just across the river where my where my father works in fact:
We're located in Edmonton along fashionable Whyte Avenue, down the street from the original Bioware office.

Looking at the fact that you're the only one I'm concluding you might have some mental problems! Please see a doctor immediately.

But really, I can't wait. I hope they release Planescape next, since I haven't played that one. And I still have my discs for Baldur's Gate 2 Platinum Collection.

Already got the "normal" editions of BG & BG2 & MDK2 from GOG.com ....hate re-buying stuff :( .... but maybe I will...
BTW still haven't finished even one of those games.

Hey, I have nothing against the idea. Just never been much of an RPG player...

So far it's only BG. Thankfully I've still got BG2 knocking around, but I was thinking of buying both on GOG again and using the opensource engine to run them. I guess I'll just wait for BG2:EE now.
