Will be trying more Torchlight tonight now my crashbug should be fixed...just got to fix my Linux install yet again...that's the trouble running pre-releases...lots of breakage!

Quoting: "Cheeseness, post: 5504, member: 122"Interesting. I've only ever played Pong clones with a mouse. A game pad would seem to be less accurate/responsive. Is that compensated for, do you think?

could also be the bigger screen (tv) and sitting further away, I just noticed I play it easier on the PS3

Bought! Looks pretty good, Torchlight is awesome :) So sadly that Torchlight 2 wasn't also available in Humble Bundle and they didn't Linux port. Maybe in future?
Cheeseness Sep 22, 2012
So far as I'm aware, a Torchlight 2 Linux client hasn't been announced as yet. Since they didn't do the Torchlight 1 port internally, I imagine that they wouldn't have started work on or getting someone to work on a port of Torchlight 2 until after it was completed. From what I hear, they're favourable towards the idea though :)

Favorable might be overstating it a tad.

QuoteThat's on the agenda as something to discuss, but we're a small team that doesn't know much about Linux and don't want to grow or take on busy work. That said, we know there is a demand and we do like to please.

Classifying Linux as "busy work" doesn't really strike me as "favorable"
Cheeseness Sep 22, 2012
Favourable was what I'd heard, not what I'd read ;)

But yeah, there's definitely nothing approaching a commitment so far as I know.

Cheese can be the master of that at times Kame. ;)

Yeah, sorry. Honestly, I wouldn't be getting excited about that. I haven't been talking to anybody with real authority ^_^
