Receiver was created for the 7-day FPS challenge to explore gun handling mechanics, randomized levels, and unordered storytelling. Armed only with a Colt 1911 A1 and an audiocassette player, you must uncover the secrets of the Mindkill in a building complex infested with automated turrets and hovering shock drones. If you'd like to try making a mod for Receiver, click here to check out the source code repository.

The lack of the gui launcher is an issue with unity, unity 4 (and especially the linux exporter) are still very much beta.

The game itself looks kind of neat - although it does take the first person ghost effect to an almost unhealthy extreme.

It's worth noting that Receiver was originally made for the 7 Day FPS Challenge (and has only received minor updates since then). It's got some really interesting concepts and mechanics, but I suck at it tremendously :D
