Play Dune 2 in your browser window!

So I don't know if anyone of you remember Dune 2, one of the original Real Time Strategy games and made by Westwood studios! It laid the foundation for most future RTS games. Released in 1992 this one is a gem.

Some fine folks have now made it possible to play it in your browser! The only drawbacks is that it seems like 100% original game not including any updates like click to move (you have to manually press move and no select multiple units).

I still think it is pretty amazing that you can do things like this, the web browser is slowly getting to be more important that the operating system you are on...one day.

Play Dune is powered by OpenDUNE as well which is pretty awesome since it's all open code! It also includes a score board as well giving you an incentive to do well and get your name up there ;)

So go and enjoy some nostalgia!

Anyone else know any cool browser games done like this? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.
