Freedom Planet Probably Coming To Linux

By Ganoo -

There recently has been an update at the Freedom Planet Kickstarter page .
QuoteWe continue to be amazed at your incredible support. We passed the $4000 mark overnight, so not only will this help us on the animation side of things, but we can also start considering hiring a programmer to help with porting the game to Mac and Linux. We have been talking with someone through private messages and they have generously provided us with a list of references, so once the Kickstarter has concluded, we'll begin our search.

Since this game was created using Multimedia Fusion 2 this could have great potential.
An update for Anaconda runtime could result in a great list of games to be ported (not to forget, Freedom Planet itself looks very cool as well)

A nice list from the Multimedia Fusion 2 website to show what games are made by this engine

MMF is a great tool, just wish it had a native build of the creator, although it does work perfectly in wine. It's great to see the multi-platform exporter is still being updated!
