AirBuccaneers Coming to Linux... Eventually

By -
Quote
AirBuccaneers is a game with fierce aerial battles between Buccaneers and Vikings in mythical landscapes.

You play as a Buccaneer or a Viking and fly around in hot air balloons armed with cannons. The combat demands seamless teamwork and co-operation. The goal of the game is to take down enemy airships and conquer ancient Scandinavia.

AirBuccaneers will be coming to Linux eventually. I don't know how long, but they have stated in their FAQ that they already have it running on Linux, and on their download page it says Linux/Mac coming soon. I'm looking forward to it.

Yeah, ive heard about this one for a while. I watched my friend try the windows version on Steam, and the servers looked pretty dead. I think i might stick with Guns of Icarus Online.

I did. Based on their answer, I don't see it happening any time soon. :(

I was really interested in this a few months ago, so I perused the forums, but lots of people were complaining about the Russians on the game coming onto your airship and taking over, relegating you to menial, boring tasks so they can do all the fun stuff.

I have confirmed a Linux release with the developers a couple of months ago. So they should have a release out soon. AirBuccaneers is built using Unity. So we can expect to see some impressive graphics on Linux.
