Senscape, the people who brought Shivers to the PC world are doing a new expanded world of psychological horror : Asylum. This could be the greatest horror genre game available on Linux since Amnesia: The Dark Descent. But it needs our help. A Kickstarter campaign is going on now:

There is TONS of footage here and at their main site at http://www.senscape.net.
This one looks like a worthwhile project to get funded, and a major feather for cap of Linux gaming fans. The reward list is almost as impressive as the game.

How that IS news!! Right On!!
Yes you are correct! And the funny thing is, I own them both.
Actually, considering the average budget for games this size I think its relatively modest and given the short history of this team (Scratches...so far) its realistic. They are at the 52% mark now. Remember that Death, Inc (Also being made for Linux) is asking for 300k POUNDS! From the looks of the campaign progress there, odds of success seem very low. At best I think they'll only get 50% of that. I think Asylum game is worth investing in because these guys have what appears to high level development and unlike most Kickstarter game projects, has a chance of being released on time (4 years of work, nearly done it seems), and their goal is actually within reach. (Being from Argentina probably allows them to get better developers at lower rates. :D ). Anyway, my thoughts there.
