So it looks like Valve is furthering the push for their games and next up could be Counter Strike Source!

Thanks again to the CDR a listing of Counter Strike Source has shown up with Linux now is the OS list with the files showing correctly, could this mean it's about to drop?!
Update: Looks like it did drop, we have CSS!

This could be huge again for Linux and gaming since it's another still massively popular online game Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Frag yeah! Installed it as soon as I saw your tweet.
Even though I suck at CSS still think it's an epic game. (and something that'll be on my school pc in no-time ;) )

I just had a play for an hour, only with bots as i did not want to show myself up, it runs smooth and looks real nice, xubuntu 12.04 32bit, ATI Raiden HD 6870, the mouse movement feels so much smoother on linux then it did on windows vista (same computer dual boot), and not once did it lag/freeze really is smooth, did have some blue coloured screen flashes when round was over and score board displays and sometimes my gun moves up and down really fast again only after round was over and the scores where showing, gameplay wise it was really good with no display problems at all, and did i say REALLY SMOOTH, lol.

Once in game I didn't see any obvious platform specific issues, however, I had a few issues getting the game to start initially -- I made a really quick post about how I fixed most of the issues, if you run into the same problems, here:

Think I might have to buy it just to give it a quick go!

I'm gonna wait and see if it goes on sale. $20 feels steep for an older game... maybe I'm just cheap haha..
