Good news everyone! CRYAMORE has hit it's stretch goal to switch to Unity3D so they can support more platforms which includes Linux!
They hit a lot of stretch goals before this one too so the game will be rammed full of content, voice acting and sooo much!

It's nice too see that they heard the Voices of the Linux Gaming Community and decided to do the Linux Version at the 150k Stretch Goal (Alongside iOS, Android and OUYA) instead of putting it in the 250k Stretch Goal, which didn't make any sense at all. Now that they use the Unity Engine, porting should be as easy as stealing Candy from a Baby ;)

That ridiculous stretch goal is why I didn't fun this, I love RPGs, but over double the original Goal when it's easy and free to export it to Linux. Oh well, now the goal has been met I might give it a go on release.

Oh well, now the goal has been met I might give it a go on release.At first they wanted to have 4 times the original Goal for the Linux Version but then they put it down on the same Level as Android, OUYA and iOS. You are right that's is easy and free to export to Linux with the Unity Engine but the problem was that they used their own Engine and only switched to Unity when they had the extra Cash to do so. That explains a little on why Linux Support was only a Stretch Goal and not a supported Platform from the beginning on.

Looks like there's been [a Linux demo](http://cryamore.tumblr.com/post/47091206113/cryamore-prototype-demo) available since the beginning of April. I'm downloading it right now and I'll take a look at it.
