Looks like a Valve developer has let it slip that Blue Shift will be on Linux!

On a bug report about errors with HD models in Half-Life 1 Linux, a user suggested using content from a Blue Shift patch when a valve developer stated this:
QuoteI've got the bshift hd model pack brewing for the bshift release, I'll look at moving those models over.

It's amazing that Valve are bringing over their older titles for people (like me) who have yet to play some of them.

Pretty safe to say we will see Opposing Force as well if they are bringing over most of them. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

It should be quite obvious that they plan on porting most if not all of their Games to Linux. They are fully commited to the Linux Port of Steam and will do anything in their Power to make it the best experience for us Lnux Gamers. And there's the Steam Box too so Valve wants to have at least their Games to run on it. So that they can show it of and attract other Developers to make Games for the Steam Box and that should mean more Games for Linux.

For anybody who can't wait, one of the SteamLUG guys put together a howto that apparently gets Opposing Force and Blue Shift up and running.
