Other than easily accessible data and Steamworks integration (if that is what you are into) I wonder how this truly scales up to the likes of EDuke32.

Oh man an "official" commercial release WITHOUT NETWORK SUPPORT?  Wtf ....
Original DukeNukem game is open source and has a very much improved engine. And there is also a Highresolution PAck available making the game look like its still up to date!
So why do we need a commercial version of this ( with broken Network! )
