Hardware: Shipbreakers Closed Beta Signup

By -
Blackbird Interactive (consisting of the creators of the Homeworld games) has recently started taking signups for closed beta of their newest game Hardware: Shipbreakers.

During the signup process you must answer few question. It's a normal procedure to present game developers with some preliminary information about yourself. However two questions stand out a little.
QuoteWhich devices/platforms do you have/own/regularly use?
Which devices/platforms are your preferred gaming platforms?

You may ask yourself why? The answers are not as standard as you might think.
You can actually choose as the answer:
QuoteLinux-based PC

Of course this is only a small hint, as the list of choose-able platforms is quiet extensive.
For now, it might(pure speculation) only act as interest check, but I believe signing in is still a Wise Idea.

About the game:
QuoteHunt for riches among a graveyard of derelict starships on the mysterious planet, LM-27. Reclaim precious cargo and adopt exotic technologies from the space-wrecks littered across the desert wasteland. Combat hostile competitors, equally desperate for wealth. Survive harsh storms and burning temperatures. Endure the poisonous and grinding dust that wears down man and machine alike. If you survive these, fortune can be your reward.

Or death in the sand your lonely fate.

This is Hardware, the newest Free to Play (F2P) real-time strategy (RTS) game from the creators of Homeworld.
