As the economical crisis advances, the discontent of an entire population cannot help but outburst in Riots, where the sounds of many voices get heard at once. The Director Leonard Menchiari has been experiencing this form of protest in person, and the game "Riot" was born as a way to express it and to tell the stories of these fights. What is that triggers such a strife? What does a cop feel during the conflict? In "Riot", the player will experience both sides of a fight in which there is no such thing as "victory" or "defeat".

It is amazing just how innovative Indie developers can be when compared to the rather stale offerings of the AAA publisher prisoned developers that don't even bother giving us the time of day.
This is one such title RIOT looks very different, touching on something close to home for me as well considering in the UK we had riot's not too long ago.
It's not surprising it supports Linux though due to using...Unity 4! My word that has been a godsend for Linux hasn't it? So many games coming out thanks to it.
It can be pre-ordered for $10 via their website using the what seems to becoming a standard for indie's "Humble Widget".
