At this point, it's unlikely that the Linux version will be released on Desura.
But, would I get a key that I can use to activate the Linux demo or the keys are per-platform?

the Keys are per store, so a game bought on Desura won't get you anything on Mana Games and vice versa.
yup, but then later i extracted the working curl version to the game directory and run it via LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./TennisElbow2013. still hope developer will fix this.
also, i think that it should be mentioned somewhere (visibly) that linux version does not support network play.
