P.I.S.D. Ltd. Releases Title Bout Championship Boxing 2013

P.I.S.D. Ltd. today announced the release of its boxing simulation, Title Bout Championship Boxing (TBCB) 2013. The game features thousands of real boxers, with the ability to re-stage classic bouts or create "What if?" scenarios, such as pitting Sugar Ray Robinson against Marvin Hagler. TBCB can even be used to forecast upcoming fights.

To test Title Bout's sim engine, PISD simmed the upcoming Mayweather vs. Alvarez fight 100 times in each of two different scenarios. You can see the results here:

I've been using Title Bout 2013 since it came out and haven't noticed the negative aspects you mentioned. For one thing, I can't see how you could possibly have an excessive number of boxers available, especially if you're running your own AU (alternate universe). When you're moving a fighter along from beginner through to Prime and eventual retirement, you need a plethora of opponents to match him against. One great thing about Title Bout is all the stuff you learn as a result of playing the game and hanging out in the Title Bout Community forum. The folks there range in boxing knowledge from novices who know little about the sport to veteran boxing historians who can tell you the names of every middleweight champion from the original "Nonpareil" Jack Dempsey (not the heavyweight) to Marvin Hagler to Sergio Martinez of present day. Once you immerse yourself into the real Title Bout world, yourfamily won't see you for days.
