This makes me giddy, Enemy Starfighter a space combat simulation game has a brand spanking new trailer to show off some of the progress that has been made on the game.
I reported on this back in December and am glad to see some more progress as I just love these types of games (Big fan of Strike Suit Zero).
Without further ado, video!
Around 11 seconds in where the bigger support ships just warp in, I can only imagine how awesome that will feel when playing it.
Anyone else loving this?

Been following this game since early development, it's come a long way. Looking really spectacular.

I've never seen it before, looks wicked! like how I imagine the homeworld series as a space sim.

Quoting: adlaiI've never seen it before, looks wicked! like how I imagine the homeworld series as a space sim.Same feeling. The graphic style looks a lot like Homeworld.
Currently enjoying Zigfrak. I'm glad that more and more space-combat games are developped.
So I have to wait for this one I never saw before either and Wings of St Nazaire.

This is a game begging... BEGGING, prostrate on the ground, for Occulus Rift support. Looks amazing.

Ever since Tie Fighter and Descent, I've thoroughly enjoyed six-axis combat games, both in space and "sort of in space" (like Descent). This is looking super! SSZ is probably better looking (so far), but graphics aren't everything, and there is certainly space for many different takes on space games!
In fact, I've thoroughly enjoyed the betas of Drifter, with it's Wing Commander: Privateer style of 2.5D (four-axis) flight!
There's just something magical about space games. It's also a great excuse to bust out my flight-stick, which just feels so fantastic to use. I don't care if mouse & keyboard are somehow scientifically proven to yield superior controls, with a nice joystick I can put myself in the cockpit and lose the world around me for a time :D
