Glare is a side-scrolling action platformer coming this fall from Phobic Studios to Windows, Mac and Linux. As the Shiner, you will use your Glare ability to progress through unique and fantastic alien worlds, tackling platforming challenges and engaging in fast paced combat.

The art in this is just fantastic, have a look:

Sadly they have no video available yet, I have been in touch with the developers to speak about the game and it looks and sounds amazing.

Is this a Metroidvania type of game? It looks a little Metroidy. I hope it is Metroidish.
