Race The Sun is a high speed and fast paced racer where you are battling against the sun, I managed to get my hands on a review code to test it out for you!

I actually rather enjoyed playing this game, the furthest I got was to the 4th region and that was frantic enough for one day!

Here's me playing it rather badly:

Sadly I cannot even remotely reach the later levels, but this is what you can expect:

You can pre-order it here for $10 from them directly, they are also working on getting onto the Humble Store and Steam (greenlight link).

The game itself will be fully released on the 19th.

End rant: Either my computer, All Linux recording software or a mix of the both suck. It took me a good ~2 hours to get a usable video. I don't know if it's the fault of avconv, pulseaudio or what but my god audio desyncs are a pain.

If it makes any difference to ya, back when I used Windows I couldn't record anything either. I had used Fraps and Bandicam and never got sound working at all. I really don't know of anything on Linux except Gamecaster, recordmydesktop, I hear VLC does captures also (testing right now, laggy). There's also Yukon and Play on Linux has a built-in recorder (samples.

I really have no idea of anything. Unless someone is sitting on top of something and just not releasing it right now. A lot of it boils down to your computer being fast enough, but it seems no matter how many times I've upgraded over the years; it's never fast enough.

Edit: I liked what VLC produced, as far as recording my desktop. I may use it in the future, but not for games heh.
