Avillum on Kickstarter

Try the live Alpha Version

Avillum is built by 2 indie game developers from Montreal. It is an online, entirely browser-based trading card game with the sweet retro, action RPG vibe of powerful heroes, dangerous creatures and loot, loot, loot. It's the game that will bring back the kid in you when you gather up with friends to look through their collection and trade the cards they need for the cards you want.

With Avillum, we want to prove that auction houses and pay-to-win games aren't the way to go. It's built by gamers who think current online card games have taken the social aspect out of the game. We want people to play against each other, but also play together.

Everything is built in HTML, right in your browser. No downloads required, no compatibility issues, no need for the latest graphic card. Avillum can run on virtually any desktop, laptop or tablet that is connected to the Internet, Windows, Mac, Linux or else! Updates and patches are done in the background on the fly, with nearly no impact on your playtime and since they don't have to be approved by some kind of app store, we can release them in seconds instead of waiting 2 weeks for approval each time.

Sharing your game is as easy as copying and pasting a URL. Guests will be able to join your game simply by entering your game's ID, and watch you crush your opponents as it happens.

Cards come to life before your eyes, as every unit in the game has a matching animated sprite that joins the battlefield as you summon them. Find rare, special version of cards to impress your opponent with unique effects and animations. Duels are visually very close retro RPG battles - that's something that was very important to us. And just like in most RPG games, when you win, you have a chance to loot cards or gold! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Very interesting, I thought you could see the cards on table, this kind of thing, but I liked it (the music is great, I don´t know if it is from the game).
