I am the owner of GamingOnLinux. After discovering Linux back in the days of Mandrake in 2003, I constantly came back to check on the progress of Linux until Ubuntu appeared on the scene and it helped me to really love it. You can reach me easily by emailing GamingOnLinux directly.

Quoting: Mike FrettI guess it's great for people who don't have these games already. I'm pretty sure during the Steam Summer Sale, most of these were accumulated by us. I'll wait to see what the extras are since I already have most of these. I'll definitely gift a copy for my bro though, he doesn't have any of these.
It IS great for us Linux gamers who don't buy Windows games, and those who like having the DRM-free option.

"about time" my rear. The mean time between HIB's is about the same as it has always been. So, yeah, just because they are adding new things to their line does not mean they don't have any love for Indy, or linux. In fact alot of their "other" bundle's have had Linux/indy support. So there are more indy/linux games per month with all these, then when they just had HIBs.

If you are getting mad that they are releasing games for other system's, while still releasing game's for your system (which they are) that just make you seem childish. I want want I have, and I want what you have too. Yeah, not cool people.

Don't get me wrong, I use Linux almost exclusively. The only reason I boot window's is for game's that won't work under linux ala natively or wine. I would love more games to support linux, but I don't get pissy when they don't. Some games just can't support linux, for whatever reason.

I'm buying for Fez. I own or am not interested in the rest.

Quoting: liamdaweI'm betting on Worms and Superfrog HD for the extra games!
I suspect we're more likely to see additional Klei, FB and DF stuff personally ;)

Detailed stats for this bundle are up if anybody wants to compare it with previous ones.

Actually, this is incorrect. The mean time has always been dropping due to the longer gap between the first three bundles.

I calculate the HIB end to start lead time fo the current bundle to be 77 days. The average is closer to 150. The point that there wasn't noteworthy distance between this bundle and the previous HIB stands, but I think the "about time" thing is more about the saturation of promotions which don't adhere to the early principles that Humble Bundle's work was guided by.

Here's a chart, because I like charts.

Edit: Wow, that turned out smaller than I expected. Try this instead or head over to HumVis.

Note that they changed the rules about the games added on second week: you get them only if you beat the average, either now or when they're added (the average cost might be lower on first week).
With the previous bundles, you got the 2nd week bonus games if you bought the bundle on first week no matter how much you had spent (you had to beat the average only when buying the bundle on second week and then would get 1st week + 2nd week bonus).

To my surprise FEZ and Mark Of the Ninja work right off the bat! They're already in my Steam library and are playable, achievements work too... Normally HIB takes quite some time before it works. Not this time, so that's a nice change :)

FEZ works fine in Ubuntu 13.04, check out a small vid I did of it below (skip to 0:40 to see the game running). It also seems to autodetect my screen resolution automatically, which is a first. Mark Of the Ninja was the same as well, it detected my resolution (1920x1080) immediately.

$4.60 is a very small price to pay for such a swath of games.. Do people really take issue with having to spend almost 80 cents per game in order to beat the average? It doesn't seem like most Linux users have an issue with it, as they've consistently been the highest payers, and almost always over the average (oddly enough, this is also usually true in Bundles without a single Linux game...). And it's for charity. Or it can be, if you divide your money so...

I guess I just don't see the issue. If you can't afford five bucks for some great games supported on Linux, or if you can't justify it for charity, then maybe gaming is the wrong hobby for you? Maybe collect rocks outside for free instead. Or maybe steal rocks from dying kids.
