3089 is a futuristic, procedurally generated, open-world action role-playing game. All terrain, enemies, weapons, items, quests & more are uniquely generated. It was developed on Linux using the open-source & free engine, jMonkeyEngine3. It also runs on Windows & Mac and supports multiplayer co-op with all platforms.

You are a promising robotic android design, made by the Overlord, placed on planet Xax. Your performance in common combat, support & intel scenarios is being closely watched. However, will you become too much for them to handle? What else on planet Xax exists that the Overlord doesn’t know about?

It was made on Linux, it really deserves my respect, I have to say that when I saw some previous movie clips from this game I thought: "Well, here goes another Minecraft clone..." but, now, I changed my mind, it looks interesting, the story is great too in my opinion.

Phr00t's games are weird and awesome. I love 3079 and I'm looking forward to play the sequel as soon as I can get some cash.

This has become my 5 year old son's newest favorite game (to watch his dad play) :)
