Here: Flickers like crazy with AMD Catalyst 13.10b (7950) and even hangs the program while loading the first campaign mission.
Well, let's not give up that fast. :)

Is it just for me or is the video in the trailer kinda messed up?

I can't seem to get it to work with my Saitek X52 controller! At most, I can change cockpit views, fire my machine guns, and turn right and left. It doesn't accept my throttle, and in-game I'm unable to set the Joystick configuration. I can only choose to put it to Default.
The graphics are pretty nice, but any air plane flying game needs to work with a controller! Would any of you happen to be playing it with a similar controller? Mind sharing how you set it up?

So here are my first impressions. Please note that I have only played for a few minutes with arcade mouse controls.
It does seem like a rushed job. Most options cannot be changed in game. You have to use the external configurator. That is fine, but the problem is that options menu is still present inside the game. It is just does not allow to change anything. Confusing.
I did not experience any graphical issues (nvidia card), but noticed sound shuttering on a few occasions. Nothing serious. The biggest sin is that it does not restore the desktop resolution when exiting.
On one occasion I noticed that I could not get the planes to go up, just down. Not sure what happened here, but after restarting the game it worked as expected.
I have a cheap controller from Saitek. I do not remember the model, but it is identified as Dragon Rise something. I will try it later today, and let you know how it went.

I don't remember exactly, but I think it's pretty close to the windows version.

Hmm, I hope they release an update to fix the controls. At least in my experience, there's something really off with the y-axis of the plane. One moment you can fly up no problem, but it won't let you fly down at all. The next moment, it will only let you fly down, but won't let you fly up. I've tried my keyboard, my mouse, and the Saitek x52. Every set of controls experiences the same issue with the y-axis of the plane. It's frustrating, because I really like flying games and this one looks to have some serious fun potential in it. Everything else in the game seems to work fine so far though, so it's impressive if this is their first port.
