It has been reported and it might come from something else than the game (like me using AMD beta graphic drivers) but just in case: anybody has the same problem?

My friend on Windows is also using the current AMD beta drivers and he's experiencing issues with the platform AMD is supposed to be supporting first and foremost.
I haven't tried this game with Intel yet, but with the Nvidia 313 drivers on my 680 I do not experience that black screen when running NS2 from Steam. I do however experience the OpenGL crashes rather often (mostly when trying to become a commander).
