About
Rogue Legacy is a genealogical rogue-"LITE" where anyone can be a hero. Each time you die, your child will succeed you. Every child is unique. One child might be colorblind, another might have vertigo-- they could even be a dwarf. That's OK, because no one is perfect, and you don't have to be perfect to win this game.

When this first came out my twitter feed was rammed full of everyone saying how good this is, I am pleased we will finally get a taste.

Phew ! I thought it was only under steam. Actually a DRM-free title and it can be purchased via the HumbleBundle store (actually less expensive via the latter than via Steam).

Yup! I played the demo in Windows before I started my great Linux experiment. It's a grand experience from top to bottom.

That's great news, but the performance sucks on Intel HD 4000 ! The framerate is bad. I know the HD 4000 isn't really a gaming GPU, but come on, Rogue Legacy is old school 2D, it should be mooth even on an IGP...

I've still got a couple reasons to keep a Windows partition around, but I ended up liking ElementaryOS so much, I've just about switched to it full time over the last month or so.
If software support keeps growing the way it has been, I doubt I'll even need Windows for anything save a few older games in about a year or so.
