I am a little underwhelmed by this in all honesty, going by the video it looks just like any other controller. Hopefully I can be one of their 300 testers to see if it can turn my thoughts around. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

One of the biggest challenges of controllers, is to replicate mouse control, or to control a pointer on screen to perform actions like drag&drop. Current controllers suck big time at that, and Steam seems to be trying to fix that... for one, I'm really curious of the "two mouse movements blended" mode.

I'm impressed, instead of having to hold down an analog stick to get the mouse to gradually reach a point, this controller lets you flick and cover the distance faster. The question is though, how comfortable is this and what kind of RSI could arise?

I am excited to try one myself, if I ever get the chance :D

Portal 2 and CS:GO are still unavailable on Linux. I wonder why.

Portal2 runs perfectly under wine.

A lot runs perfectly under wine, but it can be a hassle.
