The 'Not On Steam' Sale Launches

By -
So a bunch of indie game developers who aren't on Steam got together and put up a website called...Not On Steam alongside a sale of all of the games to support indie developers. It's brought to us by Flippy the masterminds behind Race The Sun which I took a look at, a great game itself.

This is just awesome, there are a few Linux games included as well like Inescapable (that one's new to me!), King Arthurs Gold, Full Bore, Girls Like Robots (also new to me) and more! This is a real worthy cause and I absolutely love what they are doing, especially since I've now discovered a few games I didn't even know existed.

I hope that for future sales like this (if it continues) that they make it easier just to list by platform instead of one big list, a simple filter would do.

Quick Facts
  • The sale includes over 35 games
  • Every game at-least 25% off (many are 50% off)
  • None of these games are currently available on Steam
  • All games are displayed in random order on sale page
  • The sale starts at 9:00am PST on 10-2-13
  • The sale will last for one week (10-2-13 through 10-8-13)
  • The sale is hosted by Flippfly (creators of Race the Sun)

WOW ! Excellent stuff !
I need to check some of them to make sure they run on GNU/Linux but definitely I'll purchase several titles immediately.

Thanks for the list berarma!
I'm not really sure what the intention of this list is.  Seeing how many awaiting-greenlight-titles there are I wonder what hapens once/if they are greenlit - especially for work-in-progress titles (alphas, betas).  I'd be quite p****d off to buy such a game, only to find out that I won't get the final version as that will then be Steam-only (yes, I read reports of this happening).

Thanks for the list berarma, I had missed a couple of games but now all of them are on the sales page. :)
