Hero Of The Kingdom To Come To Linux In 2014

By -
I decided to shoot a message to the developer of Hero Of The Kingdom (Steam Link) and they kindly responded.

About
Set off on a dangerous journey to save your father and the kingdom. You were living a calm life on your small farm together with your father. One sunny day your life completely changed. Malicious bandits raided your house and burnt it to ashes. Your father is missing.

  • Explore a huge beautiful country.
  • Meet dozens of people and fulfill many various quests.
  • Collect herbs, hunt for animals, and go fishing.
  • Find hundreds of scattered hidden items.
  • Reach up to 38 achievements.

With permission the developer allowed me to share this with you:
QuoteHello Liam,

We are interested to port the game for Linux, but it won't be easy with our limited resources. I'm the only programmer in our team and I don't have any experience with Linux development. Anyway, we are planning to make ports of our games to other major platforms including Linux in H2 2014, just after we finish the Hero of the Kingdom sequel, which has the priority right now.

Regards,
Jaroslav Kurcik

Love the graphics, but the gameplay seems dull - you just click on the map and it's done.
No animations, no characters, could have been so much better:

Well, its 6 EUR game developed by small company( 1 programmer in whole team as it is in this article) so.. it's just nice game with limited gameplay.
