For the first time in over 20 years, we are heralding the return of a much loved piece of gaming history with the classic RPG, Wasteland! (Steam Link) Mutants. Again. Even more than there were last time: they seem to materialize out of the very grains of the radioactive desert sand. Venomous yellow eyes.
It doesn't have a Linux icon yet as the developers are considering it an early test of it on Linux. Be warned it doesn't work right just yet as it doesn't download all the needed files but they are working on it right now:

They haven't worked out a DRM free purchase option for Linux users yet either so it's Steam only for Linux for now.
It looks a little too retro for my tastes, personally I am very much looking forward to Wasteland 2.

Yeah, it only installs the extras for me. Soundtrack, manual, wallpapers, that sort of thing.
Still, I'm not complaining. I got the game for free, through backing at a level of Torment: Tides of Numenera that'll get me Wasteland 2. :)

probably.. once it is released, supported and playable on my gnu/ linux machines that is..
happy to see these classics rereleased.. i have no mouth was a pleasant surprise.. hope they do the original fallouts (1, 2, brotherhood of steel) even if only as simple dosbox wraps as the ones actually available through desura, that would suffice.. duke nukem 3d was irresistible for me personally, an (for the nth time) impulse purchase.. wish a proper "native" quake (one) becomes available on steam for linux some day..
if anyone who has a say in which pc classics were to be ported and marketed next happens to be reading this, since i'm here and already off topic for a line or two, syndicate, xcom, system shock (2), deus ex and the thief games.. not that the listed titles are surprising or exotic in any way, a cliché even, but they are on your average "top ten pc games of all times" lists for a reason and, i for one, and many others would buy them (again) instantly..
