Update 2: A few months later, Killing Floor 2 was officially announced!
Update: It seems it was a mistake, it's actually a new DLC pack!

So zombie killing fans of Killing Floor may be a little excited now as Killing Floor 2 was leaked by Steam!
I contacted Tripwire to ask about 100% confirmation and a Linux version, but sadly it has gone unanswered currently.
About Killing Floor
Killing Floor is a Co-op Survival Horror FPS set in the devastated cities and countryside of England after a series of cloning experiments for the military goes horribly wrong. You and your friends are members of the military dropped into these locations with a simple mission: Survive long enough to cleanse the area of the failed experiments!
I personally have sank many hours into the game, but it does get a little boring and needs refreshing so this is welcome news I do hope it pans out to be really coming and to Linux as well.
This isn't just some idle rumour though, the app fully showed up on Steam's stats page:

QuoteSorry about the excitement everybody, it is a future DLC item that got put in wrong (which you should also be excited for!)

Groovy, lets just hope this port is better, the other one has some performance and rendering issues.
Some maps can't be played even :( max 22fps.

Ah, gutted that it's just DLC. I've sunk over 200 hours into KF, easily the game I've played most, ever. I'd love to see a sequel, natively written for Linux from day one, instead of a bolted-on UE3 port with texture glitches like we have now.
Hopefully it's still in the works though.

correction.. its UE2.5 not 3..
damn DLC..i hate dlc's :(
big expansions are fine though.. and if that "DLC" is big enough then fine.

I am unsure I understand how it has been verified as new dlc.. Did anyone look at the date of that post about the new dlc? It was from MARCH of 2013.. We just saw this in the second week of January 2014 on steam. Its not even talking about the same leak page in that post..
It might be DLC but that post that you say proves it is irrelevant.
