I really don't think they should be allowed to list Linux in their platforms on greenlight if they aren't 100% commited, that really bugs me.

RymdResa - A space adventure game with RPG elements and a voice-acted story.

I wouldn't hold my hopes too high for Chronology... As soon as I discovered it on Greenlight I got very interested in it, but even though they must have included Linux to the platforms list, this is what they actually have to say about porting the game to our OS:

So, "they are looking into it". Make what you will of that.

"looking into it" = We don't know if its possible yet. But if it is then we might if its not too much effort for us.

I know the author was surprised that Love got greenlit because it seemed to retro.  For me, that seems to be half the charm, the other is that it looks to be a really tightly controlled game and can't wait to play it!

totally understandable , and is ok if it takes a while, but you should probably not announce linux (or any other type of platform), which you're not fully interested in doing the required porting work or at least know if the engine devs have mentioned any type of plans for linux support.

If its using opengl and maybe sdl, then most of it might be there. But any ideas what could be the hardest part?

anyway would be a pitty because looks like a really cool game and the story seems interesting.

So... they're releasing on Linux because "CryEngine supports Linux"? Since when? I was sure that CryEngine support was why Star Citizen was cagey about Linux support.

Crytek only posted jobs about Linux in July last year. Surely they're just suddenly "supporting Linux" already??
L4Linux Jan 23, 2014
Will Crytek port CryEngine 3 as well, or will it only make its next version available to Linux?
manny Jan 23, 2014
This Kingdom Come game looks awesome!

yes it is!

As for the greenlit games, nothing strikes me as interesting.

I find a good amount of them interesting in this batch. Also some of them were kickstarters , so I was looking forward their releases.
