A Call For Help, Help GamingOnLinux Grow

By -
We want 2014 to be an awesome year for the website and for that we need your help you lovely gamers!

To start off I want to thank everyone who has visited, spread the word, donated and helped out in anyway, you are all fantastic.

For the website to grow and for me to be able to keep writing everyday including doing the reviews, previews, contact developers and all the other stuff I do, I need YOU!

Places to spread the word

Gaming On Linux G+ Community
https://plus.google.com/communities/107473457673091339260
A massive G+ group to post our content to. We get a lot of hits thanks to G+ and it helps with google SEO (search engine optimization) a lot.

Linux Gaming Reddit
http://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/
Reddit rules are that I shouldn't post our content myself a lot, or risk a ban. Probably the number 1 place for traffic for us.

Main Linux G+ Group

They also have a gaming section, and they are the biggest Linux G+ community around.

Thoughts
I have been doing this for years and don't want to stop bringing you the news. We have been here for years while other websites have sprung up and vanished. Other sites can go days and weeks without news, while we bring you news everyday.

Remember that folks, game on!

Final Note: If you know somewhere else like news websites that would easily bring in our content, let me know! Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Let's not forget about giving likes to our YouTube videos! Sharing articles directly is more efficient, but giving a like to a video helps the video rise in Google and YouTube search results and potentially allows us to gain viewers (and readers) that wouldn't otherwise be aware of our existance.

Eh, what the hell, it's the end of the month and I got a few Euros left for a change, so I went ahead and donated £10. Not much, I know, but it's about as much as I can give in my current situation.

I don't always agree with you, but I do appreciate the work you're doing here.

You have my public thanks, we do not always agree, but that is what GOL is here for, so all Linux gamers have a voice.

I sent you an email about it.
