The epic episodic RPG games Eschalon: Book I & Eschalon: Book II are now on Steam for Linux ahead of Book III's release.

They are both old-school RPG games with lots of text to read, single-player only with plenty to see and do.

They are not action RPG's, but turn-based meaning things can take a while or you can just blast through it quickly, and with unlimited character development there is plenty to have fun with.

The game is non-linear so don't be afraid to go exploring and see the sights, you can find a lot of hidden treasures.

Ps. They are also on Desura (Book I, Book II). Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I already bought book 2 via their site. Any way to redeem the copy on Steam?
