Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge is a very colourful looking platformer that pays tribute to 80s and early 90s, oh joy another retro platformer, like we don't have many of them...anyway.

To be fair on this one, it does look good and certainly better than most. The visuals certainly are crisp.
I'm not a fan of the skimpy outfit though, I've seen people say it's more of a joke than being sexual, but I don't see a joke; I still see a sexed-up woman and just don't see a need for it.

About
Galactic hero Serena S has been trolled on Spacebook. This is obviously a cause to embark on an epic quest to punish the troll in question, who just happens to be The Space Prince. Guide Serena through 7 stages of shmup action, jumping, shooting, and yet decidedly more jumping and shooting to her ultimate goal of total testicular annihilation of her foe. Ultionus is a love-letter to the home computer arcade games of the late 80s and early 90s, particularly Halloween Harry, Astro Marine Corps, Duke Nukem 2 and especially Phantis/Game Over II. The game features tons of lovingly crafted pixel art, and a rockin' chiptune soundtrack by the legendary Jake 'Virt' Kaufman.

Psst. It has also been on Desura for a bit. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Just be careful mentioning the skimpy outfit on Steam, otherwise you'll be waist high in "culture warrior" and "white knight" accusations :P

Eh... It seems kinda silly to complain about having yet another game in any given genre, regardless of saturation level. Especially on Linux.

I completely disagree, we have a massive library of games now and it is easy to get bored when a vast majority of them have very similar game-play - platformers.
