Achron is a sweet time travel based RTS game available natively on Linux and has been for a long time now, they have a history of great support too with yet another update.
This release 1.6.2.0 is mainly an important bug-fix release to make it more stable, but it does include two new game related features:

When picking it up years ago I found it highly confusing, it seems you do need to be quite patient with it and spend a bit of time messing about to learn it properly.

- Added toggle for hearing sounds through fog of war to pre-game lobby
- Added more anisotropic filtering options to graphics settings in menu
