Dark Raid is a good looking FPS with a single-player story and multi-player, luckily the developers have confirmed they are looking to support Linux.

It's a really good looking FPS and would be a welcome change since it has a single-player story mode too.

QuoteThank you for the comments, we already started to work on what we can do about it. We will do our best to add Linux support.

Source

The game is built in the Unreal dev kit, so with the recent news it is not surprising that they can now look into supporting Linux.

The game has also been greenlit, so it will make its way onto Steam too.

About
In Dark Raid, players assume the role of a Droid named Muddy who is a worker machine in hi-tech research and defense cruiser S.W.A.N. but with a small discovery in the silence of the deep space, S.W.A.N receives a message from an unknown source and than everything goes crazy, that's when players takes control of our heroic character Muddy, also players will reveal an amazing secret about the Muddy, as the story goes on, players will be experiencing memorable space adventure.

I imagine we will see many more Unreal based games look to porting over to Linux. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

The problem with this is that the UDK doesn't give source code access(unlike the new UE4 subscriptions) and doesn't have any Linux support. I just don't see how they could create a true port. Can you really ever truly port something without source code access?

I am pretty sure they did not use the UDK but had a full on engine license with source code access.
