Hi

I bought this game as a digital version five years ago, and I have to admit that was better game than Ballistics ported by LGP. I spent a lot hours with this game, and sometimes I still play it. In the last year, I bought this game on CD but their website didn't work. Fortunately I found order page using Google I and received the game after a week. Now I see this sad news. I was expecting that Irrgheist will publish new two games because I saw some screenshot on their website, but it didn't happen.

I really want to see Mac version of this game, and I don't care about the version dedicated for Android.

You are very welcome Liam. I though it will be more polite to register before posting this time, so here I am. I've been commenting as the grumpy Edgar in the past because it isn't easy to remember all those passwords... yes I'm getting old.

I found this game the last year, played the demo and loved it, but their website was down and I couldn't find any place to buy. With some research I found the developers and they sent me a free copy of the game, they are amazing!

The game is difficult to learn but easy to master, just forget all you know about driving cars because the physics are very different. What I do is release the accelerator far from the curves, rotate the H-Craft while it slides and accelerate again when the curve begins. Better with joypad/gamepad.

As I read in another review, the IA is unforgiving and very hard to overtake, but as the tracks are short and you can instantly restart, kamikaze is a viable (and fun) strategy.

It would be better to either say 'freeware' or 'free software' so that it's immediately clear which 'free' you mean. I guess it means freeware in this case.

I think you should try it:

cd craft

padsp ./hcraft

Sometimes, you have to try to run it several times. I think it is a known bug in this game.

Instaling OSSPD is beter solution than padsp. It allow my play simcity3000 on mint16 with sound.

This fixes all the segfaults and sound problems in my openSUSE:
./swapsoundlibs.sh system

If things get worse, you can undo the changes with:
./swapsoundlibs.sh game

On my openSUSE 12.3, I just renamed the lib directory, so that none of the supplied libs is used, only system ones. Runs perfectly, without segfault, and with sound (I also had a segfault when using the supplied libs).
