Two games from Might and Delight are confirmed by the developer to be heading to Linux, we have the scoop for you!

Shelter

QuoteHello people,
Just wanted to drop in and give you some information. We are working on a Linux port! However, this is mostly in the interim time we have while working on other projects. I can't make any promises on when, but I can promise that we are doing our very best with the time we have to make it a reality!
(also, when we made the initial port swap everything broke... so... that was a thing :P)

In Shelter you experience the wild as a mother badger sheltering her cubs from harm. On their journey they get stalked by a bird of prey, encounter perils of the night, river rapids crossings, big forest fires and the looming threat of death by starvation.

Pid is a platform game that will turn everything you know about 2D gameplay upside down. You play as a young boy that gets stranded on an old remote planet. He must fight off a variety of malicious robots bent on stopping him and befriend unlikely allies to shed light on a huge conspiracy that keeps the planet mesmerized and prevents him from ever reaching home.

Thank you everyone who sent these in. Looks like we have gained another Linux-friendly developer to add to our growing army of penguin pushers.

Shelter looks to be a very interesting game, can't wait to see that one on Linux.

What do you think to these games folks? Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

I wanted to buy Shelter when it came out, so this is great news. I hadn't heard of PID, but it looks superb. The animation is jaw-dropping. Two essential purchases, methinks...
