The Powerpuff Girls Defenders Of Townsville is a title I never thought I would write on here, but here we are and let's get down to it!

My thoughts
The Powerpuff Girls: Defenders Of Townsville is not only a game I didn't think I would ever write about, it's also a game I never thought I would actually enjoy!
It starts off easy, really easy, even on hardcore difficulty. That doesn't last forever though, once you start finding your feet more and more enemies fill up the screen and it gets a bit hectic, especially when enemies charge up and let off a barrage against you while you're already dodging attacks from others.
The fact that I didn't have to play with the shows newer animation style was fantastic, personally I've seen a few episodes many years ago in the "classic" style, so including both was a top-notch decision.
A great game for a younger audience to relate with, and some pretty decent action and charm for the rest of us. Don't let the name put you off, it's worth the price.
Take that Mojo!
So, to round this off, go buy it, simples.

Hey there, on which distro did you play the game? I unfortunately can't play it on openSUSE 13.1.
The game runs and the menu including all options works great, but the game itself hangs and only loads the background assets and the first lines of dialogue in each scene and then stops responding to inputs beyond the menu button.
It seems they've linked against a whole bunch of XServer and GL libraries instead of going the sdl2 way and didn't provide the library versions they've linked against as part of the libraries included, which would explain why it works fine on one of the distros but breaks horribly in another.

I've played for almost an hour so far. It's definitely functional, but the animation is lacking and the writing is pretty flat (mind, after seeing one of the new episodes that problem may be beyond the scope of this game). Still, not a bad experience, the price is not unreasonable, and definitely a good addition for the kiddies. Although it is pretty reminiscent of the flash games I used to play on CN's website. Hopefully if they keep publishing proper games they'll start to expand somewhat; I'd definitely drop some cash for a good Adventure Time game ;)

It's running fine for me on Linux Mint 16. Hopefully the devs get back to you on that steam thread you made; otherwise I'd email them directly.
