Voxatron Becomes A Fantasy Console & A Game

Do you remember Voxatron? You don't? Well Voxatron is currently in alpha and it was part of a Humble Bundle named "The Humble Voxatron Debut!". Much has changed since then.

Previously Voxatron was just a little colourful Voxel game where you progressed to different areas blowing up little Voxel based enemies. It still is that, but they are also aiming to turn it into a "fantasy console".

Voxatron 0.2.10 includes many new tools for creating cartridges: custom players and pickups, .xm music importing, microscripting, and fancy doors with a flexible world persistence system. Over the next month I'll be focusing on supporting designers using the new features, as well as adding a web player and social features in preparation for v0.3. So be sure to check back to the BBS levels (PLAY > BBS CARTS from inside the game) to see what we come up with!

This does sound extremely interesting and it's nice to see developers experiment like this.
